	Never losing sight of those founding principals, Eljen Technology has grown to be one of the largest manufacturers of Organic Scintillator in the world.

Sweetwater is located in West Texas approximately 40 miles to the West of Abilene. It is an oasis with "sweet” water amid bitter-tasting gypsum streams.

The Kiowa Indians named the site "Mobeetie"--which was their word for "sweet water."
